Project House Update: The List - Version 2.0

It's the second annual version of The List! The end all be all of the status of our entire house.

Last year, I started a tradition of documenting our entire house once a year. That way, in five, ten, twenty years, I'll actually be able to remember it. Think about it. How many pictures do you have of your childhood bedroom? Or your dorm room? Or your first apartment? Our spaces don't get enough respect in the moment and we're left without any evidence after the fact.

{Sidenote: you can catch me in a couple of reflections. It took me several days to clean and take the pictures so there's a few outfits. There's also one of my favorite photobombs ever by Dan. Keep an eye out...}

So without further ado, here's a room-by-room guide to what we've done so far to our first home and what still needs to be done!

* means something Dan wants to do and I am trying to talk him out of.
# means something I want and Dan is ignoring and hoping I'll forget/change my mind.
bold means something new or completed since the last version of the list.

  1. Documenting your entire house once a year as a tradition is a good idea. You’ll be able to see the changes you’ve done for the past year, and you can caption it with the memories you’ve experienced during the process. And speaking of change, your house is progressing well! There may still be a lot of work on your to-do list, but seeing the things that has been done, it's only a matter of time before you finish everything. I hope it will continue to progress smoothly. Cheers!
